SwapinWidget: Crypto on- and off-ramps for your Web3 project

SwapinWidget enables partner apps to seamlessly offer crypto selling and buying within their own apps. Users can sell or buy crypto within minutes without leaving the interface of your Web3 project. Here’s a step-by-step process of selling cryptocurrencies using SwapinWidget.

Selling crypto using SwapinWidget

  1. You start by choosing the cryptocurrency and entering the amount of crypto you want to sell, you will then see how much you receive in EUR. Next, hit “Continue”.

  2. Now, you need to enter your e-mail address and click “Continue”.

  3. You’ll receive an e-mail confirmation with a 6-digit code for verification. Copy and paste it, then click “Continue”.

Once you’ve confirmed your account: 1) If you’re an existing Swapin App customer, you’ll be taken straight to the transaction process. 2) If you’re a new customer, first you need to complete the verification stage, but don’t worry, you only need to go through this verification once. The next time you use SwapinWidget, you'll go straight to the transaction process.

To continue with your order, enter your IBAN number - the bank account in which you want to receive the fiat currency. Accept the Terms of Service, and hit “Continue”.

Send your cryptocurrencies to the provided wallet address. You can do that either by copying the address for a manual transaction, scanning the provided QR code to continue the process within your wallet app, or connecting your crypto wallet via WalletConnect to MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Argent, Ledger, and more.

Once you’ve sent the crypto, click on the “I sent the crypto” button and you will be taken to the next step where you will see the message “Waiting for crypto” - Swapin is waiting to receive your crypto, it can take a few minutes.

As soon as Swapin receives your crypto, you will see a message “Crypto received” and Swapin will instantly convert it into desired fiat currency and send the funds to the provided IBAN.

Once the fiat currency has been sent to the provided bank account - you will see a message saying “Transfer complete”. And that’s it - you now have withdrawn crypto to the desired fiat currency into the provided bank account.

In the future, in the menu (which you can access by clicking the top right), you can view your transaction history, check your limits, review terms and conditions, and contact Swapin support.

Buying crypto using SwapinWidget

You start by entering the amount you want to buy in EUR and selecting the cryptocurrency you want to receive. Then hit “Continue”.

Now, you need to enter your e-mail address and click “Continue”.

You’ll receive an e-mail confirmation with a 6-digit code for verification. Copy and paste it, then click “Continue”.

The next time you use SwapinWidget, you'll go straight to the transaction process.

To proceed with your order, Swapin will give you bank payment details whereby you send your Euros to a Named IBAN issued in your name.

Next, Swapin will give you bank payment details whereby you send your Euros to a Named IBAN issued in your name. Simply use your banking app to send the funds using the given transaction details. Very important - make sure to INCLUDE REFERENCE when making the payment!

Once you’ve sent the Euros to the provided IBAN with the correct payment details, click the “I transferred the funds” button. You’ll be taken to the “Waiting for funds” step. If your bank supports instant SEPA payments, this will take a few minutes. If not, it can take up to 2 business days.

As soon as Swapin receives your fiat, you’ll see a message saying “Funds received”. It's then quickly converted into crypto and a payment order is sent to the wallet address you provided earlier.

Once the cryptocurrencies have been sent to the provided wallet address - you will see a message saying “Transaction completed”. And that’s it - you now have the purchased crypto in the provided wallet.

From now on, in the menu (which you can access by clicking the top right), you can view your transaction history, check your limits, review terms and conditions, and contact Swapin support.
