What is a Dedicated IBAN?
Dedicated IBAN is a virtual IBAN issued in your name. With our Dedicated IBAN service, you will be able to transfer crypto to EUR in a simple payment in your name to your bank account with SwapinGet. It also allows you to pay any EUR invoice using cryptocurrencies and the receiver gets money in your name with SwapinPay. This feature allows you to overcome banking limitations, with traditional banks sometimes being cautious with crypto-related transactions from crypto platforms or payment providers.
How to get a Dedicated IBAN from Swapin?
The Dedicated IBANs will be offered by default, meaning there is no need to opt in. Dedicated IBANs are available for both individual and business customers. For individuals, the Dedicated IBAN service is offered for Basic and Full verification levels, not the Starter Level. For business customers the Dedicated IBAN service is always
offered.
What customers apply for getting a Dedicated IBAN?
This solution is available for our customers who are EEA (European Economic Area) and Switzerland residents. The full list of countries includes:

How Can I check my Dedicated IBAN number?
Currently, we do not display your Dedicated IBAN number on the dashboard. It will automatically appear on the recipient's bank account statement once a payment is made.
Are Dedicated IBANs and vIBANs the same?
Yes, technically dedicated IBANs are virtual IBANs. They are a series of digits that identify the account to which money should be sent, issued in your name.
Which country does my Dedicated IBAN belong to?
For customers from Switzerland, we issue GB IBANs. For customers from all other countries, we provide IE IBANs. This applies to both individual and business customers.
Can I turn off a Dedicated IBAN?
For now Dedicated IBANs are turned by default for all Swapin customers that apply the following criterias: individuals, EEA and Switzerland residents, verified as Basic or Full, and for all business customers as well. Once you apply, you will get the feature turned on by default and won’t be able to turn it off. In the future Swapin team may plan to add opt in/out feature for Dedicated IBANs.
Can I use my Dedicated IBAN as a banking solution?
Swapin offers Dedicated IBANs for crypto-to-fiat payments initiated in Swapin only, we do not offer banking solutions and it can’t be used for other types of transactions.
